Your consultation for Snoring & Sleep disorders

At your consultation, you will meet with a Consultant Surgeon and a Clinical Nurse Specialist.  Your medical history will be taken, you will be asked about your snoring and sleep issues and your questionnaire responses will be reviewed with you. A thorough examination of your mouth, nose and throat will follow to check for excess tissue, or other underlying causes of snoring and sleep apnoea.

You may be advised to take home a device, which monitors your sleep and snoring activity and physiological responses. You will be fitted with and receive training on this sleep monitoring equipment for use at home. After analysing the results and reviewing the causes of your snoring, we can then identify the most effective treatment for you at the clinic.
